I was involved with Julia of Sustainable Development over 2 year period whilst Macphie of Glenbervie was a key partner in an innovative European Funded Project called ‘Use of Industry Experts’. The project was successful because of the highly motivated & focused leadership of Julia of Sustainable Development. During the 2 years she demonstrated her ability to lead, control & deliver. One of the main outcomes for Macphie was that Julia supported a retiring individual who held key knowledge & experience that the organisation wanted to retain. Julia worked closely with this individual and was able to help extract this knowledge which was then developed into a format for training purposes. This was not easy task at best, but was more difficult given that the individual concerned was not known for voluntary communication. The outcome was rewarding for the participant and extremely useful to us a as a company. Julia also designed and delivered development in the form of Coaching & Mentoring to key individuals in organisations in both face to face and online formats so those individuals could continue to be connected to their specific industry sector and where they could impart their extensive knowledge and experience. Julia was also instrumental in developing an online testing tool which again used the transfer of knowledge of key individuals into a format which supports recruitment training, development and base-line competence.
